Authorship and Scientific
Ethics
Authors are encouraged to register for an ORCID ID.
An ORCID ID is required at the time of submission and will be published
alongside the author’s information.
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original
and have not been previously published or submitted to other journal
simultaneously.
All manuscripts are subject to authenticity verification using
plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts exhibiting more than
20% content overlap will not be accepted.
Authors are responsible for adhering to ethical standards and
preventing plagiarism. The use of text, figures, or data from other
sources is permitted only with explicit permission and appropriate
citation.
Copyright and Licensing
Copyright remains with the authors for all published works.
All publications are distributed under the Creative Commons
Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Each publication is assigned a unique CrossRef Digital Object
Identifier (DOI).
Archiving Policy
All publications are openly accessible in institutional repositories
and recognised indexing databases, and are also included in the
Bulgarian Open Science Portal.
Requirements for authors
The journal invites submissions in Economics, Econometrics, Business,
Management, Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, Governance, Law, and
multidisciplinary research at the intersection of social sciences,
computer science, and digital transformation. Manuscripts should
demonstrate academic relevance, methodological rigour, and contribute to
current scientific and professional discussions.
The editorial board upholds rigorous scientific ethical standards and
implements protocols to prevent plagiarism and conflicts of interest.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution
4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal publishing and
distribution rights.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm its originality and
accept the journal’s open-access policy.
Archiving and Access
The journal archives published content in institutional repositories
and recognised indexing databases to ensure long-term access.
All journal content is freely accessible, with no charges imposed on
either readers or authors.
Fees
No submission or publication fees are required.
Types of Manuscripts and
Length
- Research Studies: Fundamental research involving
comprehensive theoretical or empirical investigations, limited to
35 standard pages (approximately 10,000 words).
- Articles: Focused research papers, limited to
20 standard pages (approximately 6,000 words).
Note: The word count includes the abstract, tables, figures, and
references.
Language: English.
Manuscript Structure
Submit manuscripts as MS Word files and adhere to the following
requirements:
- Title (bold, TNR 12 pt, center): Provide a concise
and informative title.
- Author information (TNR 12 pt, center): Include
full name and email address after the title of the paper. List the
academic position, academic degree, institutional affiliation, and ORCID
iD as a footnote (TNR 10 pt, justified).
- Abstract (TNR 11 pt, justified): Provide a 150–200
word abstract that clearly states the purpose, methodology, findings,
and conclusion.
- Keywords (TNR 11 pt, justified): List 5–8
keywords.
- JEL Classification (TNR 11 pt, justified): Include
at least one code from the JEL Classification System is required
(American Economic Association: JEL Guide).
- Structure: Follow the IMRaD structure
(Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion when applicable,
Conclusion). Format each section title in TNR 12pt, bold, and
left-centred.
- Acknowledgements/Funding: When applicable, disclose
financial support or grants, including the project title and the
relevant program or organisation.
- References: Use APA Style (APA
Style) and at least ten sources.
Technical Requirements
- File type: MS Word (.doc / .docx).
- Margins: A4 size, 2.0 cm on all sides.
- Main text font: TNR, 12 pt, justified.
- Line Spacing: 1.5 lines.
- Tables and figures: number consecutively. Provide a
caption (TNR 11 pt, centered) and source (TNR 11 pt, left) below each.
Ensure all images are high resolution.
- Formulas: ensure all formulas are editable using
Equation Editor. Do not use images.

accepted.
Payment policy
The Yearbook of UNWE does not charge any fees for submission, peer
review, editing, or publication. Authors are not obligated to pay any
charges for publishing their work.
